Dr Surjit Kumar Gandhi - Director cum Principal
Dr. Surjit Kumar Gandhi obtained Bachelor degree in Mechanical Machine Design and Automation Engineering in 1997 from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He earned M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. In 2018, he completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Industrial & Production Engineering at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar N.I.T. Jalandhar. In this connection he has worked in the field of Supply Chain Management.
Prior to joining the present assignment as Principal at PCTE-Institute of Engineering & Technology, Ludhiana in August 2019, he worked as Campus Director at Adesh Institute of Engineering & Technology, Chandigarh.
Most of his work experience is in academics, he has served as faculty member at Regional Engineering College, Adesh Institute of Engineering & Technology, Faridkot, Rayat Group of Institutions, Ropar, and IKG Punjab Technical University Hoshiarpur Campus.
His research interests include Industrial Engineering, Service quality and Operations Management. He has been a coordinator and resource person at several Seminars and Conferences. As on May 2024, he has 57 International journal and Conference papers to his credit. He is also a keen enthusiast in promoting ISTE activities and takes interest in projects leading to application of TQM principles to Engineering Education. He has held the position of Secretary, ISTE (Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir) Section since 2015.
