The Department of B.Tech CSE with Artficial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) at PCTE Institute of Engineering, Ludhiana was established in 2024 to offer academic programs and train students with a holistic understanding of the theory and practice of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning as well as to create a complete ecosystem for both academic practice and research in AI.
The aim of the department is to “Enable and facilitate students to become leaders in the AI industry and academia nationally and internationally; as well as to meet the pressing demands of the country in the various subareas and applications of AI.

  • Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
  • B.Tech. – Lateral Entry:
  • Passed Diploma in any stream of engineering/technology with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category).
