The building has its own large lobby & reception area. Hotel Management students are trained regularly at the front desk about call handling, Reservation handling, Guest complaint management, key handling, check-in & check-out services etc. Practical style of learning helps students to build themselves as professionals required in the Hotel Industry.
In order to train students of Hotel Management in the field of Housekeeping Services, a mock hotel room is prepare in the block. Students practice various housekeeping functions in the highly equipped room with all sort of upholstery, furnishings & fixtures present along with attached rest room.
Faculty of Hotel Management & Catering is well equipped with 300-350 capacity banquet hall which is totally managed, served and cooked by the Hotel Management students. Various events like Chef Competition, Food Festivals, Freshers’ Night, Farewell Parties, International Students Meet, Alumni Meet, Your Excellency Lecture series etc. are take place in the Banquets which are taken care of by the students. Bulk events provide students a range of experience and expertise to inculcate qualities within for future challenges in hospitality industry.
A training restaurant cooked, served and managed by the students is operational whole year. With seating capacity of more than 50, every day students, faculty and guests dine at Zayaka. Students get their hands on learning at Menu planning, Buffet Management, Guests handling, Silver/Elaborate Table service and Restaurant reservation management. Hotel Management students are well trained and groomed at this training restaurants to meet to meet the high level competition in one of the fastest growing industry.
