♦ Karanvir speaks on ‘Beyond the Cliche’ 

Department of Journalism organised a guest lecture on ‘Beyond the Cliche’ today. The guest speaker was one of the young global entrepreneurs Karanvir Singh, Founder and Chairman Visionum Group. He has represented India at various global platforms like UNO, World Economic Forum etc.

He motivated the students of Journalism, Bcom and MBA for their lives ahead and showed them the right and positive path to travel in order to attain success.

It was a learning experience for the students.

♦ Guest Lecture on Printing Process of a newspaper

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication organised a guest lecture on Printing Process of a newspaper. Sh. Kamal Chopra, a senior professor and currently the President of All India Federation of Master Printers interacted with the budding media professionals here and shared in detail about the types of printing machines.

Students gained an excellent learning about the printing industry as well.

♦  Guest Lecture on Challenges and Opportunities in Print Media!

Ms. Divya Goyal, Senior Correspondent of a leading English National Daily – The Indian Express interacted with students of Journalism and Mass Communication on Challenges and Opportunities in Print Media.

She shared her national media coverage and discussed about practicalities and challenges faced in reporting.

The guest lecture provided a great learning experience for the students.

♦  Guest Lecture organised on News that Glues

Department organised a guest lecture on ‘News that Glues’ on November 11, 2016. The speaker on this occasion was Gauri Chhabra, a known media professional with more than 15 years of practical experience in the field of Journalism. She interacted with the students and shared techniques of writing crispy and brief headlines along with the tip of writing a news story that would glue a reader to it.

Later, students have cleared their queries. Students gained a lot of knowledge from the lecture.
