 IDBI Bank picked up 4 students

IDBI Bank visited the PCTE campus for the first time selecting 4 MBA students at the current highest package of Rs. 5.2 lac per annum.

19 students placed with Axis Bank

Axis Bank visited the PCTE campus one again picking up 14 students from MBA and 5 students from PGDM, an autonomous course of PCTE at annual package of Rs. 3.2 lac post their rigorous rounds of aptitude test, GD and PI.

A record of 21 students placed with HDFC Bank

HDFC bank has been a regular recruiter from PCTE. This year also acknowledging the hard work and efforts of PCTE students, HDFC bank picked up a record 21 students for across Punjab location at a package of 2.5 lac.

Asian Paints picked up 3 students

Second time in a row, Asian Paints placed 3 students from PCTE campus at annual package of 3.6 lac after rigorous sessions of interviews.

6 students placed with Berger Paints

Another FMCG company, Berger paints picked up 6 students from PCTE at an annual package of 3.4 lacs.

Few of the companies are scheduled for the campus recruitment process in the coming fortnight like Federal Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Fullerton Securities, IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Certain Export houses like Kuber (India) Pvt. Ltd., and ILK Impex are also scheduled to visit the campus during the same period.

Punjab College of Technical Education will be organizing its convocation function on 7^th April, 2012 at Campus-II.  Professor Atul Tandon, Director Cadila, Pharmaceutucals Ltd has kindly consented to be the chief guest on the occasion. About 400 Graduates from different disciplines such as MBA,MBA IB, MCA,M.Sc IT, BBA, BCA, B.Pharmacy, B.Sc-Biotech, BHMCT and B.Sc.ATHM will be awarded the degrees by Dr K.N.S.Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes.

Dr. Kang while congratulating the graduates and meritorious students informed that in the convocation function not only students who had cleared their degrees will be awarded the degrees but also the students who bagged Gold medal in their respective courses at University level will be given attractive prizes. He said that College colors will be given to the students who has done well in cultural and sports events at college level. Dr. Kang further informed that Wg Cdr H.S.Gill Memorial Gold Medal in the memory of Founder Trustee Late Wg Cdr H.S.Gill will also be given to most outstanding student of the college.
