The Convocation of the PCTE is an annual ceremony whereby the institute recognizes and applauds its recent pass-outs and the recipients of various honors.

Since last two years, the entire ceremony is webcast live on the college’s website, in an attempt to ensure that alumni overseas and families that were not able to attend don’t miss out on proceedings. About 500 degrees were given to the graduates from different disciplines like PGDM, MBA, MBA-IB, MCA, M.Sc-IT, BBA, BCA, B.Sc ATHM, B-Pharmacy, BHMCTand B.Sc.Biotechnology. Mr. V.K Goyal, Executive Director & CEO, SEL Industries Ltd was the chief guest on the occasion.
Along with 10 students, who were awarded prizes and medals for securing university positions, Ms. Ummi Calvin Marealle, student of MBA IB was awarded with Wg.Cdr. H.S. Gill Memorial Gold Medal along with Cash prize of Rs 10,000 for most outstanding student of the college. Mr. Kapil Sahni received college color for exceptional performance in literary events. He was chosen best debater in IIT Rorkee. Mr. Lovely Kumar received college color for performance in cultural events as he was declared best actor in IIT Rorkee and Mr. Sumit Lakhesar received college color for exceptional performance in sports events and is a winner of international Taekwon-Do Championship.
