Mykolas Romeris University, Vilnius, Lithuania has offered three full fee waiver scholarship to the students of PCTE. Mykolas Romeris is one of the oldest and largest technical University of the country.
Dr. KNS Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes informed that PCTE had offered it to the most eligible three graduates, who had passed out of PCTE from any stream in the recent past. These students will be able to receive a complete tuition wav off at MRU in Lithuania for Post graduate degree. He added that MRU offers several Post Graduate degrees including some of the popular ones like Law, Public Management and Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Economics, Political Science.
PCTE has 100 odd International students from all over the world studying full degree courses for two, three or four years at PCTE. At PCTE there is International presence as faculty or students from different countries like Greece, Mexico, Egypt, Romania, USA, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Colombia, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nigeria and Angola.
Ms. Harpreet K Kang, Dean, International Affairs, who had signed an MOU with Mykolas Romeris University in 2011, and had again visited the University along with Dr Kang for furthering the cause a fortnight ago, said, “We are now in the right direction. No more does India need to woo Europeans to India, for Europeans equally want Indians to visit them as students, tourists, and foremost to come here and study the dynamic Indian market.”
Dr. K.N.S.Kang Director General PCTE Group Of institute said that PCTE has already signed 12 MOU with various leading foreign institutes in the area of faculty, students exchange and research. He said that PCTE has signed the MOUs with leading business and IT institutes of the world at UK, Poland, Pakistan, Srilanka, Bangladesh and South Africa, Mozambique. Dr Kang said that foreign exposure will help the faculty in improving the teaching standards and also help them in giving International quality in terms of Knowledge. The students will also get enough exposure so that can compete with the best in the market.
