Punjab College of Technical education will be celebrating the grand finale of week long International student’s week tomorrow at PCTE Campus. In the festival foreign and Indian students played various games like football, Volley ball, Basketball and Pool. In the finale foreign students will display their talent in Fashion show, Dramatics, Music, Dance etc and documentary of their respective countries showing their culture and rich heritage will also be shown on the occasion. Mr Balunyura Baker, Education Attaché, Embassy of Uganda will be the chief guest on the occasion. Other dignitaries form the various embassies of the representative students will also be present in the function.
On the occasion, Dr K.N.S. Kang, Director General, PCTE group of institutes said that PCTE has 90 foreign students from different countries like Cameroon, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Mozambique, Uganda, Afghanistan and Bhutan who are studying in different courses at PCTE. Dr Kang further said that such events promote sense of brotherhood and team spirit among the students. He said that it’s a great opportunity for Indian students to learn and compare themselves with foreign students which in turn will prepare them to take bigger challenges in the global competitive world.
