RMNLU- Lucknow win laurels

RMNLU Lucknow took the first position after 3 day long grueling five rounds of debate at D.R.Singh Memorial British Parliamentary Debate, Season-III, which concluded at PCTE Group Of Institutes, Ludhiana .Second position was bagged by Faculty of management Studies, Banaras Hindu University. The best speaker for the session was Ravi Shankar Jha from RMNLU Lucknow. In all 36 teams participated of which 32 ex-Ludhiana teams joined the competition. 

Mr. Anil Kumar, Executive Director and CEO Shreyans Group of Industries said that, “Debate is all about giving the best amongst the best of teams”.He further added that it’s good to see the students involved and participating in such events.

Dr K.N.S Kang said that, these debates encourage the students to participate and get developed overall. Unlike, the regular debates organized by various schools and colleges of the region, the British Parliamentary Debate entails a Knock out League match pattern – where two teams after taking out draws fight against each other in a nearly an hour long debate, and the winner  goes on to the final round.

The teams which reached semi finals were FMS BHU, NLU Jodhpur, Sri Aurbindo College of Commerce Ludhiana, RMNLU Lucknow and after a tough session  the teams  that reached finals were RMNLU Lucknow and FMS BHU.
