National Level British parliamentary debate kicks off in the city from today at PCTE Group of Institutes. Debate is organized to showcase the spontaneity, oratory skills, expressing opinion on various subjects and to interact with some best of minds.
Ludhiana Management Association is organizing this debate along with PCTE Group of Institutes. The competition is being organized in Memory of Dr. D.R.Singh, a known academician and founder president of Ludhiana Management Association. Winners of the debate will be given Cash prizes worth Rs 75,000. The event has been sponsored by Haveli Ram Bansi Lal Ludhiana and Eastman Cast and Forge Ltd said Mr. J.R.Singal President, LMA.
Ms. Harpreet Kang, Chairperson, Students Forum of LMA said that,34 teams representing management and other professional institutions across the country registered for this Debate. She told that the there was a lot of excitement in the campus and the students were geared for Season III. She further added that best of teams of the country from Welingkar, Mumbai, NLU Jodhpur, FMS, Banaras Hindu University, National Law University, Lucknow, are participating in the competition. The participating teams were given orientation and exposed to Demo Debate today.
