Students of PCTE Group of Institutes, Ludhiana prepared and enacted in a play – “Main fir Aawanga” on 2nd Feb 2012. This is a socio-political play based on a hypothetical situation which contemplates how Shaheed Bhagat Singh would take to the present world if he was to be born again. The play very well knit and written by noted writer, Palli Bhupinder.
Dr. K N S Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes, informed, “The theme of this play is an awakening on social and political evils prevailing in the present times in our country. We are still under the clutches of exploitation of women, corruption from politicians. It’s a self wakening expression of the mute public that is bearing atrocities of the hands of so called Netas.”
Ms. Kawinder Kalsi, faculty of French at PCTE Group of Institutes, resident of BRS Nagar, visualises the whole experience as a real eye opener and very much relevant in the present time. The theme patriotism in the relevant social and political aspects was wonderfully portrayed by the writer Palli Bhupinder. Ms. Kawinder Kalsi remarked that I had real fun and am fascinated by the dedication, devotion and total commitment of the students towards dramatics and theatre. This is a step in the right direction by the students of PCTE.
