PCTE Group of institutes organized Tourism Expo to celebrate World Tourism Day on 27TH Sept. 2011. It was organized by PCTE Travel Club In the college premises.
Dr. K.N.S. Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes, informed, that “We invited travel companies and accommodation sector. We gave a common platform to Travel Companies and Hospitality sector to market their products and promote their companies. The companies which participated in this expo were yatra.com, Desire vacation, The Experience Factory, A hotel, Victoria continental Inn.”
Further Dr. Kang added that the students of PCTE participated in tourism Expo. They got a practical exposure about the particular companies and learnt how to deal with the customers. The Tourism Expo is organized with the motive to share a common platform with corporate, Industry Experts & Student.
Company officials of Yatra.com said that the students and the staff of PCTE were very energetic and it was a good platform to elaborate and interact with students and faculty about tourism.
Richa, a student of PCTE, said that she wanted to go to Nanital for her weekend holidays and she was happy that she got a first-hand information about the holiday package in the tourism expo.
